About the Project

Tebyin is more than a software project; it is a heartfelt endeavor born from a passion for sacred knowledge and a belief in the power of technology to deepen our understanding.

This journey began with my simple question: "How can we leverage modern technology to not just read, but truly *interact* with the Qur'an?" As the initial developer, I envisioned a tool that would feel less like a static book and more like a dynamic, personal research assistant—a companion for scholars, students, and anyone on a path to deeper knowledge.

Built on a foundation of C++ and the Qt framework, Tebyin is engineered for performance, reliability, and complete offline access. I chose to make it open-source (LGPLv3) with the sincere hope that this project will grow beyond a single person's effort. My vision is for a community to form around it, where developers, researchers, and designers from around the world can join in, contributing their skills to create something truly transformative.

This is an invitation to be part of that future. Whether you contribute code, suggest a feature, or simply use the tool in your studies, you are helping to bring this vision to life and transforming it from "my project" into "our project".
